Of yore, S.Lovering Wharton and artist William Trost Richards built a stunning house on a small island located on Narragansett Bay. Clingstone house was built with three floors with interior materials made of natural wood. it’s 103 years old and now it’s owned by architect Henry Wood and his family. The house seems so antique, however, behind the antique style of this house has a beauty that lies in the panoramic beauty of the sea. other than that the house is also equipped with several facilities with modern technology, such as solar panels and wind turbine to generate electricity, rainwater-recycling and seawater-filtration systems, and composting toilets. -via-
